It is a structural change to which whoever adapts shall succeed in unlocking greater value from the physical and digital universe.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.elasticinsights.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IOT.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-59 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.elasticinsights.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IOT-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"IOT\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>By using location and device independence characteristics of cloud computing, one can attempt to expand definition of XaaS to encompass IoT components like communication equipment, infrastructure devices, data and platforms.<\/p>\n<p>A world of physical objects (industrial, medical, automotive etc.) whose <em>digital<\/em> data is seamlessly integrated into your information network then stored, processed and intelligently consumed makes the case for IoT in the cloud.<\/p>\n<p>IoT has many layers that can feed data \u2013<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Actual <strong>objects<\/strong> which have a digital adaptor to transmit data<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sensors<\/strong> which are attached to <strong>objects <\/strong>to convert and transmit analytical measurements such as temperature, voltage etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Communication path equipment<\/strong> such as wireless modem chips (3G\/4G), USB, HDMI etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data aggregators and compute machinery<\/strong> which may reside in a public or private cloud<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Combining agility and expansiveness of cloud ecosystems, one can expect IoT to drive<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greater efficiency<\/li>\n<li>NEW services and solutions<\/li>\n<li>Increased customization leading to digital personalization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Viewing the Digital and physical world as one or as they call it having a Yin and Yang for completeness is the new wave in \u2018Internet of Things\u2019 (IoT) revolution.
